Job Role: Restaurant & Bar Manager
Salary: £35,000

Key Responsibilities
Operations
- Manage the Restaurant and Bar team.
- Lead Event Operations and take ownership for the smooth running of hotel functions.
- Ensure training Is Implemented and monitored.
- Produce a booking summary for weekly operations.
- Overseeing standards of service whilst ensuring excellent communication across all departments.
- Utilising management systems including - ResDiary, Lightspeed, Trybe, Mews and Market Man.
- Getting to know members and guests on a one-to-one basis, to deliver a memorable visit.
- Ensuring the various hotel rooms are organised and tidy with and up to date with stock lists.
Inventory.
- Running payroll and creating reports for food and beverage GP.
- Identifying cost cutting strategies and business opportunities to generate revenue.
- Supporting the marketing team with content and being an Integral part of this growth.
- Fulfilling any staffing requirements Internally.
- Coordinating all serious food/ accident complaints in line with the investigation SOP and ensure the OM/GM are informed/ signs off on planned steps/ communication.
- Ensuring cleaning checklists are completed and recorded, including beer lines and both glass washers.
- Taking ownership for department and reporting non-compliance or maintenance issues.
Complete required supervisor training to include:
- Food Safety Level 3
- Fire Marshal Training
- First Aid Training

Prerequisites -
- All applicants must at a minimum have 1 - 2 years’ experience within an assistant manager or ideally a management position within a similar venue / role.
- The above certificates detailed in training are too ideal.
