Calling all creative and passionate chef de Parties with a flair for British cuisine. Our client located in the beautiful setting of The Cotswold's, aim to onboard a Chef De Partie who is experienced with British Cuisine. The award-winning venue provides an excellent standard of British Cuisine in a beautiful environment.
Job Role Overview:
As a Chef de Partie, you will play a crucial role in the kitchen brigade. Your expertise and creativity will shine through in every dish you prepare. From classic British comfort food to contemporary twists on local ingredients, your passion will elevate our menu to new heights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present dishes to the highest standard, consistently exceeding guest expectations.
- Collaborate with fellow chefs to develop new seasonal menus that celebrate the region's finest produce.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following food safety and hygiene protocols rigorously.
- Mentor and guide junior members of the kitchen team, fostering a culture of growth and excellence.
- Contribute ideas to continuously improve kitchen operations and efficiency.
- Adhere to allergen guidelines to ensure the safety of our valued guests.
Requirements:
(Applicants who can drive are ideal, this is in a very remote location)
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie, particularly in British cuisine.
- Possess a strong foundation in culinary techniques and presentation.
- Holds a Food Safety Level 2 certification and has a thorough understanding of allergen management.
- Creative flair and a passion for experimenting with new ingredients and techniques.
- Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment (150 covers on average a day).
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Must have experience from quality high-end kitchens.
- Used to dealing with the very best produce - Meat & Fish
- Lots of Grill and fire cooking experience a big bonus
